Different Places of Soil
Soil and the Microvertebrates Frequency with
Different Places of Soil
Figure 1:
Figure 1 is showing the frequency of taxon type and the calculation of Alpha diversity.
Hypothesis 1: Alpha diversity calculation it has relationship between the frequency of each taxon.
Prediction 1: If the frequency of taxon is not showing then the calculation number of Alpha it will be not shows and the hypothesis reject.
Prediction 2: If the frequency calculation alpha Collembola is less than 342 then on the graph it’s going to decrease.
Result
The calculation of Alpha diversity (Simpson Index) it calculated by using n(n-1) equation that was for each taxon the total is about 472, the graph show highest and lowest taxon, the highest it is collembola which is number 6 in the graph, and the lowest taxon it shows by numbers 3,4,5,7,8,10,12,13,15,17,18,and 20 which these organisms does not show up and they have 0 frequency.
Figure 2:
Figure 2 : is shows the frequency organisms of Edge of the soil comparing to the frequency organisms of inside the soil.
Hypothesis: Edge frequency and inside frequency they are at positive correlation relationship.
Prediction: If the number of the frequency of edge organisms going down then the frequency of inside organisms is going down because if we done have any organisms at edge, we can’t find organisms inside the soil because organisms move in and out of the soil.
Result
The number of edges that shows on graph it larger than the number of inside organisms. The equation that we followed to calculate is Sc/S which is equal to beta and its about 1.63. D calculation is about 0.99 it followed by 1-Σn(n-1)/N(N-1).
Conclusion
This experiment I conclude how to make hypothesis and how to make prediction on hypothesis, and I conclude that the number of organisms from edge of the soil and inside of the soil it is different.
