Purpose: You all now have a fundamental understanding of the mind-body connection, termed psychoneuroimmunology (see text pages 558, 35, 76). If the causes of illness or reasons for health are ultimately connected, in great part, to our experiences and behaviors, what is going on with you? The purpose of this assignment is to have you write about yourself in a truthful and meaningful way.
Because of what is happening in my family, I have a lot of stress
Topic / Content: What effects are your experiences and behaviors having on your life now? and/or What effect will your experiences and behaviors have on your life in the future?
· Write a brief introductory paragraph that clearly introduces your paper – who are you? how old are you? how do you live? what behaviors, experiences affect you now / will affect you in the future, etc ;
My answer: I am a mom, friend, defender, and teacher and mostly I am me, a 42 year old woman who loves her children very deeply with all my heart, loves animals and nature. I leave my life everyday like there is no tomorrow. Right now my family and I we are going through a really though times, because my husband and I we are separating. This affective in a negative way because of my children, I really hope this will be for the best for everyone but I can not help thinking how hard this separation will be for my children.
· Compose a paragraph or two that with developed thoughts that explains your introductory statements;
· In the final paragraph, summarize your work and state your concluding remarks.
Evaluation: Review the Health 21 Written Paper Rubric to understand how your work will be scored / evaluated. It often takes numerous drafts to write any paper so plan ahead. The paper will be read considering content and format. English writing skills should demonstrate college level mastery. The campus provides writing assistance.
Requirements for a Successful File Submission:
1. Complete your work using a current version of MS Word, Pages, Google Docs or another word processing system. You must then save your file as .doc, .docx, or .pdf. In Google, go to File–>Download as to save as PDF.
2. Name your file with your last name and first name. Proofread how you have named/saved your work. Using my name as an example, my work would be saved as liechtybarbara.docx For those of you who don’t know, you name your document and the computer adds the type of document. You do not add the file type.
A document that does not open, opens in a corrupted format, is not completed using a current version of MS Word, is partially saved/presented, is saved improperly, etc will not earn credit. There is no do-over or make-up opportunity. No exceptions.
